2015-16 Indoor Season: Won his third consecutive indoor 5,000 title at the Liberty League Championship in 15:02.95 … Also won the League Championship in the 3,000 in 8:40.76 … Ran a leg of the runner-up Distance Medley Relay at the Liberty League Championship … Finished third in the 3,000 and fifth in the mile at the NYSCTC Championship … Ran a personal best of 8:32.83 in the 3,000 en route to winning the SLU Fast Chance Qualifier.
2016 Outdoor Season: Earned All America honors in the 5,000, finishing sixth at the NCAA Championship in Waverly, IA … Broke Marc Gosselin’s 32-year-old school record in the 5,000, running 14:23.32 at the Bucknell Bison Invitational … Earned Liberty League Track Performer of the Week for finishing as the only Division III runner in the top-10 at Bucknell … Finished third in both the 1,500 and 5,000 at the Liberty League Championship … Scored in the 5,000, 4x800 relay and 1,500 at the NYSCTC Championship.
2014-15 Indoor Season: Defended his title in the 5,000 and finished fourth in the 3,000 at the Liberty League Championship … Finished third in the 3,000 and fifth in the mile at the NYSCTC Championship … Ran a personal best of 14:40.67 in the 5,000 at the BU Terrier Invitational.
2015 Outdoor Season: Won his third league title in the 5,000, his first outdoors, at the Liberty League Championship … Finished sixth in the 1,500, running 4:00.95 at the Liberty League Championship … Was runner-up in the 5,000 and 4x800 relay at the NYSCTC Championship … Earned Liberty League Track Performer of the Week honors for the week of May 11 after winning the 5,000 at Oneonta in 14:51.22 … Five times broke 15 minutes in the 5,000 during the outdoor season.
2013-14 Indoor Season: Won the Liberty League Championship in the 5,000, running 15:13.97 … Ran a leg of the runner-up Distance Medley Relay at the Liberty League Championship … Earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors for the week of February 10 after running 15:03.20 in his 5,000 debut at the BU Valentine Invitational … Finished seventh at the NYSCTC Championship in the 5,000.
2014 Outdoor Season: Finished third in the 5,000 at the Liberty League Championship … Competed in four events at the NYSCTC Championship, the 5,000, 4x800-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay and 4x100-meter relay, finishing sixth in three of those events.
Prior to St. Lawrence
Tom was named All-State and Senior Athlete of the Year. He was a member of the National Honor Society. Tom competed for the cross country, hockey, tennis and track and field teams at Oyster River.
