Former defensive back/wide receiver Leondre Simmon has been busy in the offseason at multiple NFL Pro Day events to show his talents to NFL scouts with the possibility of landing a tryout with a team or even inking a free agent contract.

Simmon, who was a D3football.com All-American, led the Saints to an 8-3 record, a Liberty League Championship and a trip to the NCAA Playoffs. He had six interceptions and four pass breakups from his cornerback position where he often drew the coverage assignment of the opponent's top receiver. The senior also was a factor on offense as a wide receiver with 25 catches and nine receiving TDs.

Simmon attended the Fordham University Pro Day as well as the Rutgers University Pro Day in March.
